This is what Nissan India has planned and it will be going ahead with an aim to attain 10 percent market share in India. This fiscal as well, the car maker aims to sell as many as 50k units. Currently registering its presence in hatchback, MUV, SUV and sports car segments, the car maker is all set to give a sincere push to its sales. Meanwhile, the forthcoming Nissan Datsun brand cars will be able to help attain this target with much ease. Once the car maker launches Datsun cars in India, sales will start pouring in. As per initial launch plans, the car maker will be launching the Datsun car by the end of this year or early next year at the 2014 Auto Expo to be held in Greater Noida. In addition to this, in order to take the current 1.6 percent market share to 10 percent mark, the car giant will also be opening new showrooms, establishing new service network and will be investing a lot on brand visibility in the country. Meanwhile, there will also be launch of new Nissan cars in the country.

It is believed that even Nissan Micra and Nissan Sunny sedan can single handedly take sales to newer height if the car maker makes these a little more affordable. In the meantime, Nissan Evalia will also gain popularity in the country as it is the only car in India with so much mileage and so much space.
