Online booking of Tata Zest Started on down payment of Rs. 21,000
Slated for launch sometimes during the next month domestic car making company Tata Motors has started the online booking of its new sedan Zest, which was showcased during the Indian Auto Expo 2014. At present the booking of Zest would be carried out online only on the down payment of Rs. 21,000 which could be paid through either credit or debit card. According to sources of company in the beginning the booking would be carried out on the basis of petrol and diesel variants, the details about different models would be however made at the time of launch.

The prospective buyers will be required to fill an application available online mentioning the details of their city and state, after which the list of dealers located in their region would be displayed. After which depending upon the availability of dealer in their region they will have to select its name and deposit the amount of booking on his name which would be transferred to account of dealer. After launch the buyers would be required to visit that specific dealer and pay the rest amount of the car depending upon the variant selected by him. Once all the booking formalities are finalized the sedan would be handed over to the buyers as soon as the dealers receive the stock.
In Indian car market Zest would be offered in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant will be empowered with Revortron 1.2 litre turbo petrol engine while the diesel variant would be energized with 1.3 litre diesel engine. Both the engine will be coated with five speed manual gearbox, it is also speculated that company might offer AMT transmission system in diesel variant.
