Tata Zest leads the line-up of Tata Cars in the month of August
Tata Zest the recent initiative of domestic car maker Tata Motors which was launched last month has succeeded in emerging as the bestselling car of the company with its inception during the month of August sales. According sales statistics for the month of August revealed by company 2671 units of Tata Zest were sold during the month of its launch. It would be important to mention that the car maker has huge hopes from this compact sedan and had worked hard to make this initiative a big success in Indian car market. Industry experts also believe that Zest is one of the best products launched by company in recent years and will definitely help company in strengthening its position in India.
Interestingly dealers of Tata Motors across the country have also witnessed the craze of buyers towards this compact sedan. According to industry reports the petrol version of Zest which is empowered with Revotron petrol engine records the waiting period of about six months followed by AMT version which has been offered only in XE version of Zest records waiting period of 3.4 months. The launch of Tata Zest has given fire to tough competition to segment of compact sedans in Indian car market especially between Dzire from MSIL, Amaze from Honda Motors, and Xcent from Hyundai. The main reason behind this cut throat competition in compact sedan is competitive price tag of Rs. 4.83 lkah offered for Tata Zest which has grabbed attention of prospective buyers willing to buy a compact sedan for their family.
According to company sources it is speculated that with festive season coming up and with explore of Zest’s popularity among car buyers company will succeed in rolling out 5,000 units of Zest every month. Moving ahead going through the encouraging response received by Zest, company hopes that its upcoming hatchback Bolt (expected to be launched in January 2015) will continue in improving the sale figures of company to new heights.
