Suzuki Motors might phase out Alto and Grand Vitara from European car market

It is rumored that  Japanese car maker Suzuki Motors might discontinue the Alto hatchback and Grand Vitara from European car market by this year end. It is also reported that Alto would be replaced by recently introduced Celerio hatchback in Indian car market. However as the replacement of Vitara is concerned nothing has been so far revealed by any of the sources. It is also reported that car maker is also not interested to launch any new product as replacement of  Grand Vitara which is an indication that at present company is mainly interested to focus mainly on its upcoming SX4 S Cross-over.

As far as Indian car market is concerned it is not sure that whether the car maker will also phase out both these products from Indian car market or not, as Indian car market is also going to witness the launch of SX4 S-Cross hopefully by the beginning of next year. Apart from this it is also speculated that car maker might also launch a new compact SUV in Indian car market to compete against EcoSport compact SUV from Ford.
