Uncovered Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 2016 caught on roads
After successful launch of its ever first compact SUV Vitara Brezza in Indian car market almost two months back country’s eminent car maker MSIL is all set to launch the facelift and upgraded version of its best selling hatchback Alto 800 soon in Indian car market. Recently the facelift version of hatchback was caught being tested on roads completely undisguised.
Continuing the same engine configuration of 796 cc, three cylinder engine, boosting the power of 47.65 PS and torque of 69Nm and mated with five speed manual gear transmission system, the facelift Alto will be offered in same existing ten variants as offered in outgoing Alto 800. The cosmetic changes have been offered on both exteriors and interiors front. On the exterior front fascia receives minimised front grille at the beneath of bonnet, the headlights however continues the existing look whereas side indicators now receive amber colored lens. The logo of Suzuki is now placed between grille slit and air dam. The front bumper receives completely new treatment in form of enlarged hexagonal air dam, it also receives fog lamps which were not found in outgoing version of Alto 800. Moving towards the rear portion there is no change and retains the same appearance.
Inside the cabin it is anticipated to receive superior quality upholstery with mere changes. In its new avatar the facelift Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 will compete with its existing contender Hyundai Eon and recently launched Renault Kwid which has emerged as a strong contender of hatchback affecting its dominating top position.
