Volkswagen announces exclusive care packages for Ameo
The Indian arm of German car manufacturer Volkswagen has announced exclusive care packages to lure buyers for its newly launched made-for-India carline Ameo, wherein customers can avail exciting benefits on a combined array of post sales services for sedan at an attractive price on the basis of their requirements across all Volkswagen dealerships in India.
Volkswagen offered Ameo care packages in two categories, namely Volkswagen Care Plus and Volkswagen Care. Both the packages include 24*7 Road side assistance, extended warranty, service maintenance pack and other valuable benefits.
Volkswagen Care Plus: 4 years of unmatched benefits with complete care:
1. Extended Warranty for 2+2 / 1,00,000 kms
- Cover against unexpected repair
- Repair Cost minimization
2. Service Value Pack for 4 years / 60,000 kms (4 services)
- Protection against part price inflation and labour rates
- Pick up and drop facility for service
3. Roadside Assistance (RSA) for 2+2 year
- Roadside Assistance in breakdown events
- 24*7 support across India
4. Two Free inspection Services
- Between 2nd and 3rd service
- Between 3rd and 4th service
5. Free Exterior Cleaning Treatment: Once in 4 years

As of now Volkswagen Ameo is available in petrol variant and will soon be offered with diesel option too. Currently heart of compact sedan is powered by 1.2L MPI petrol engine churns the power of 75 PS and maximum torque of 110 Nm equipped with five speed manual transmission. In terms of safety Volkswagen Ameo features ABS and Dual-front airbags as standard in all variants and Electronic Stabilisation Programme, Hill Hold control with DSG transmission.
