Volkswagen Beetle Convertible unveils at Los Angeles Auto Show, launch in November

German car maker Volkswagen is adding big wonders to its small car Volkswagen Beetle. After a series of experiments and infallible success, finally, the Beetle convertible will be launched. The Beetle Convertible car will be launched at the Los Angeles Auto Show which will be held from November 30 to December 9, 2012. The open top Beetle is expected to be highly practical and will be a combination of its iconic style and practicality. In Germany, the new Beetle Convertible price will be €21,350 and orders will begin this November. The present generation Beetle is available in India and its price is Rs 21.22. It is available on order. The Volkswagen Beetle Convertible launch is scheduled next month.

VW has chosen the Los Angeles Auto Show as the right time to launch the Beetle car model as the show is expected to be a host of lots of car launches and a thousand cars will be on display at the Show, right from the future cars to the most modern gadgets and the gizmos for cars. From entertainment to celebrity appearances will be there at the Show. And amidst the hecticness, the Beetle Convertible will make its own presence.  

With the absence of the hood above, the Beetle has become more versatile and sportier with a seating for four. However, in designing the car, VW has made all efforts to keep the design language the same as that of the hood car. In fact, the beetle is known for its roofline and bug shape and it is to be seen how the convertible car is accepted by the buyers. In order to keep the convertible as safe as the other variants of the car are, VW has taken extra pain to make the A pillar give safety to all the occupants. Besides, there are thorax airbags as well as standard and rollover protection system in place as well.
