Volvo V40 Cross Country launch in April

Come April and there will be a slew of cars in India. From the Swedish car marker’s stable as well there will be a launch and it will be the Volvo V40 Cross Country. This is certain following the recent spotting of the car at a dealer yard in Kochi. With the launch, Volvo will also be witnessing a recent spur in demand for its cars as the auto industry expects some good bookings coming thereafter. The car is expected to have a price tag of around Rs 32 lakh and being in diesel as well avatar, the car will have easy settling ratio in the segment. The car will be known for its ultra modern features such as park assist, illuminated gear knob and a variety other features as well.

The car was intended to be launched early this year but following the Union Budget, the car launch was pushed to April. Sources predict that once the Budget is tabled and sops for auto industry are announced as well as taxes variation on imports and exports is decided, the car makers will be able to better formulate the price of their new cars. This is the sole reason why many car makers have postponed their car launches in April or so. In the meantime, the car maker is expected to roll out some video teasers as well as print ads in order to set in demand for the car in the market that is a hot one for crossovers.

In the segment, this crossover will be competing with the new BMW X1 and the Audi Q3 and the Mercedes Benz B Class. Thus by that time the car will have three robust crossover models to compete with but the car has so many features that the car buyers will surely prefer it over others.
